Career Symposium Program Overview
CO-OP is in the process of developing an annual Career Symposium that is designed to help students
make better choices during high school and while in college in discovering career opportunities that fit their
skills, creative talents, and aspirations. The intent is to encourage students to explore both popular
and unique professional fields while planning their course of study.
The Career Symposium will include a series of workshops, panelists, career assessments,
internship opportunities, and advisement sessions. Participants and their families will be given the
opportunity to network with professionals from various industries to assist them in developing their
academic and career plan. Information relating to double-majors, minors, study-abroad, extracurricular
activities, membership organizations will also be provided in the context of their impact on career
preparation and career choice.
Partnership Opportunities
We invite you to be part of this exciting event. We are seeking corporate sponsors to assist in the
funding and marketing of our inaugural Career Symposium. Donations may include tote bags,
promotional items, snacks and beverages, coffee service, pens/pencils, notepads, raffle prizes, We need
your help to make this event a reality and a success!
