Dr. Sharma Henderson, Ed.D.
serves as its President and CEO.  

    She received a B.A. in Psychology, a B.A. in African-American Studies,
    and an M.S. in Education Administration from the University of Southern
    California.  She recently completed her Ed.D. in Organizational
    Leadership at Pepperdine University.


Sharma has enjoyed a rewarding career creating educational
opportunities at the secondary and post-secondary levels.

    She has served as an Educational Advisor, Program Coordinator, and
    Program Administrator.  Dr. Henderson also leads a consulting firm that
    assists local agencies with their evaluation, management, and training
    needs.  She also contracts with several federal agencies as a grant
    reviewer and as a grant writer for various community agencies.  


Currently, Sharma is the Program Director for CO-OP's general
service programs and as an Assistant Director for the Upward Bound
Programs.  

    She is also the primary grants and contracts manager for the agency.  
    Her duties include a variety of tasks ranging from coordinating
    fundraisers to designing and maintaining the CO-OP website.


Sharma resides in Carson, California with her fiance, Curtis Storey.
