Summer Food Service Program Overview
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) operates in conjunction with the Summer Academy. This
program ensures that program participants are provided with nutritious meals during breakfast,
lunch, and dinner.
Services Offered
Participants are provided with a variety of nutritious food options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or snack
depending upon which Summer Academy they are attending. Program staff and participants are trained on
healthy eating and snacking habits including substituting unhealthy foods for nutritious alternatives.
Partnership Opportunities
Members of the community can partner with CO-OP's Summer Food Service Program by
contributing healthy snack items during the summer months.
