LOCAL ORGANIZATION HELPS AT-RISK YOUTH ATTEND COLLEGE
Support CO-OP’s Efforts by participating in the “2008 College Access Awards
Luncheon and College Fair” on Saturday, June 14th from 10am to 3pm.
The College Access Awards Luncheon will bring 400 youth from local school
districts (Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Hawthorne) to provide them with a variety of
college access information and services. The event includes a full-scale College
Fair with representatives from 40 California colleges and universities, distribution of
scholarship awards, and a celebrity honoree who has attended a local high school
that is served by the agency. Students will also receive vital college preparation
information and live entertainment.
Please contact our office for sponsorship information, vendor exhibitions, ticket
purchases, and volunteer opportunities at www.co-opla.org or 310-649-1016.
