CO-OP: Think Green!

Think Green! Initiative Overview

The CO-OP Think Green! Program is the first initiative of our new Environmental and Stewardship
Division. The purpose of the program is to promote activities and behaviors leading to the
preservation of our environment for future generations.

Services Offered

Think Green! services are focused on training participants to protect the environment and conserve natural
resources. We offer a series of workshops, community service projects, and other activities that
promote environmental stewardship. We also participate in a variety of educational summits that
allows producers, partnering agencies, and local university to demonstrate new opportunities to be green.

Partnership Opportunities

We are looking to partner with local businesses that can provide consumers with
demonstrations of their conservation efforts and who offer incentives for purchasing affordable
environment-friendly products. We are also seeking support to fund the travel, lodging, and other
expenses for participant tours to Central and Northern California farms and agricultural centers.
