College Access Celebration
As part of our college access efforts, CO-OP participates in community fairs, farmer's
markets, and school events by assisting students with college applications,
answering questions relating to financial aid, and scheduling individual consultations.
All of these events culminates in an annual event to bring more awareness to college
academic success.
In June 2008, CO-OP hosted its 1st Annual College Access Celebration! Due to the
lack of funding, the College Access Celebration was not held in the 2009 and 2010
fiscal years. We are gearing up for another celebration in Spring 2011!
markets, and school events by assisting students with college applications,

anticipated event of the year:
The 2008 College Access
Celebration.
CO-OP has been working with
a number of LAUSD high
schools since the fall of 2001.
Students enter the program
between the 9th and 11th
grades and are provided
retention services until they
receive their Bachelor’s
Degree. Our graduating
classes of high school
students have been walking
across the stage since June of
2005. We are very excited to
see our students complete this
milestone and we are even
more excited to see them
getting prepared to start
college in the fall of 2008!
We are pleased to invite you to
share in our continuing
success. CO-OP cordially
invites you to become a part of
The 2011 College Access
Celebration! We are
encouraging local businesses,
organizations, community
members, parents and
teachers to support these local
students by becoming a
sponsor.
